Beginning his career as a laborer, he went on to establish Max’inux Construction with a vision to create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous communities. Derrick is deeply committed to sustainability and economic development, having contributed to major projects such as the Trans Mountain Expansion and BC Hydro infrastructure upgrades.
